"The Setup" is a service provided by Kate McCormack, LLC. The Setup is a virtual administrative service: calendar, deadline and organizational support for the school side of family life. It is not childcare, supervision, transport, tutoring, or educational, medical, legal or financial advice. We provide no in-person services, we do not communicate with schools or school personnel, and we never communicate with children. All decisions about a family's children remain with their parents.
Our work depends on information provided by families and published by schools and activity providers, and those sources change. We work carefully to keep every calendar and summary accurate and current, but we cannot promise that every date, time or deadline is error-free, and parents remain responsible for verifying the details that matter most to them. For clients, the Client Agreement sets out the full allocation of responsibility.
Founding Member places are limited in number and offered at The Setup's discretion. The Founding Member rate is held for as long as that family remains a continuous, active client, as set out in their Client Agreement.
Use of this website is at your own risk and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability arising from the website itself. For clients, liability, dispute resolution and all related matters are governed exclusively by the Client Agreement. These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
